Split offers few popular destinations for mountain climbing consisting of forest paths, mountains and few mountain lodges. Some of the most famous mountains are: mountain Kozjak, Mosor, Biokovo, Gornja Podstrana and Imber while less demanding roads for walking are park wood Marjan, Klis and track Žnjan.
Park wood Marjan
Spend relaxing day in park wood Marjan and meet the history and culture behind medieval churches and desert settlements hidden in rocks in the heart of the park. On the top of the hill Marjan you can enjoy the view of the islands and the city of Split.
Mountain Mosor
Mosor is a coastal mountain in Dalmatia which extends sea coastal line from Split till Omiš while walking path begins and ends in small place called Sitno Gornje.
Mountain lodge is located on 1339 meters above sea level and from there you can enjoy the most beautiful view on the Dalmation islands and the city of Split.
